The Holiday Season is here!

Trying not to bow to peer pressure from already lit houses and trees in the neighborhood, I manage to make it to this weekend to start to set up for Christmas. Yesterday I finished the outside lights and started on one of my 2 (artificial) indoor trees and today I finished decorating that tree. The weather has been cold but sunny - unusual for here but so much better than 39 degree rain! It's really unusual to see the maple trees with some leave still on them as usually there is a few hard storms in October that takes away the colors overnight. This year, I have the challenge of trying to save my trees from the zoomies of my 3 year old German Shepherd whom I adopted in the spring, this is why the tree is tucked in a corner. So far so good - tree 1, dog 0.
